Ideation, building a business case, developing a business plan, articulating their ideas as a compelling investor pitch.

Duration: 4 months

Outcome: 24 startups were able to refine the idea as a compelling narrative in various formats: 2 min lighting talk, 15-min TED-style investor pitch elaborating the idea using data, GTM/ channel strategies, MVP and a business construct.

Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs MBA – IEV (Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Venture Development)

Ideation, concept building, research, pitch presentation

Duration: 30 hours

Outcome: 12 startups were able to build on a strategy, develop GTM plan, business models and develop an investor pitch deck

Design Thinking for Customer Experience and Innovation MBA – Finance

Ideation, concept, mixed methods research, Prototype through conceptual design

Duration: 20 hours

Outcome: 50 participants came up with 7 team ideas, developed a conceptual sketch & prototype of their conception, created a pitch deck, and presented the ideas to the jury panel

Ethnography & Strategy Design , UX Engineering

Ideation, data gathering using ethnographic methods, insight generation using a mixed-methods approach, and conceptual design.

Duration: 72 hours

Outcome: 10 teams comprising 60 participants took an ethnographic and mixed-method approach to discover the entrepreneurial opportunities and created MVPs.
